Description
A silky, cloud-light peanut butter mousse that is indulgently nutty and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 cup (roughly 258 g) smooth peanut butter
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (cold)
- 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup (about 56 g) cream cheese, softened (optional)
Instructions
- Chill a medium mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 10–15 minutes.
- In a large chilled bowl, beat the heavy cream on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form (about 3–4 minutes) and set aside in the fridge.
- In another bowl, stir together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and evenly combined. If using cream cheese, beat it in at this stage until fully incorporated.
- Fold a quarter of the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture.
- Gently fold in the remaining whipped cream until uniform and airy. Avoid overmixing.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
Notes
Don’t overwhip the cream. If your peanut butter is very thick, microwave it for 10–15 seconds to soften before mixing.
