Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Squeeze in the lime juice, then add salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Using a fork, mash the avocados to your preferred texture—smooth or slightly chunky.
  4. Gently fold in the diced onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using).
  5. Sample your guacamole and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
  6. Enjoy immediately, or cover with plastic wrap pressed directly against the guacamole to minimize browning.
