Description

Ingredients

  • 2 oz cheddar or mozzarella cheese, sliced or shredded

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. On the unbuttered side of one slice, spread a layer of pesto.
  3. Place the cheese between the two slices of bread, with the pesto side facing inward.
  4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet (buttered side down).
  5. Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  6. Slice and serve warm.
