Pizza Bombs: A Cheesy Delight

Description

Delicious bite-sized pizza bombs filled with mozzarella, pepperoni, and pizza sauce, wrapped in a tender biscuit shell.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, pizza sauce, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  3. Open the biscuit dough and separate each biscuit.
  4. Flatten each biscuit into a circle using your fingers or a rolling pin.
  5. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  6. Gather the edges of the biscuit dough and pinch them together to seal, forming a ball.
  7. Place the pizza bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
  8. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed.
  10. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For best results, ensure biscuit dough is at room temperature. Avoid overfilling each biscuit to prevent leaks while baking.
