Description
Delicious mini phyllo bites filled with cream cheese and topped with sweet-red pepper jelly, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (15-count) mini phyllo shells
- 4 oz (113 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup red pepper jelly (about 4 tablespoons)
- Fresh thyme leaves or chopped green onion, optional for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the mini phyllo shells on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of softened cream cheese into each shell — aim for an even, gentle mound.
- Top each filled shell with about 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper jelly.
- Bake for 5–7 minutes, watching closely: the shells should be crisp and the cream cheese warmed through but not melted to liquid.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with a few fresh thyme leaves or a sprinkle of finely chopped green onion, if using.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Serve alongside a crisp white wine or a light, bubbly Prosecco for a delightful pairing.
