Description

Delightful mini phyllo shells filled with cream cheese and topped with sweet and spicy red pepper jelly, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (15-count) mini phyllo shells
  • 4 oz (113 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup red pepper jelly
  • Fresh thyme leaves or chopped green onion (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Arrange the mini phyllo shells on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of softened cream cheese into each phyllo shell.
  4. Top each filled shell with about 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper jelly.
  5. Bake for 5–7 minutes, until the phyllo shells are crisp and the cream cheese is warmed through.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh thyme or green onion if desired.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Use room-temperature cream cheese for easy spreading. Overfilling can make the shells soggy. Assemble ahead of time and bake just before serving for best results.
