Roasted Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese


Description

A golden, crackling sandwich filled with roasted jalapeños, melted cheddar, and creamy goodness, perfect for cozy evenings and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 23 jalapeños, roasted and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread cream cheese on one slice of bread and top it with roasted jalapeños and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Place the second slice of bread on top to make a sandwich.
  4. Butter the outer sides of the sandwich.
  5. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for about 3–4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Slice in half and serve hot.

Notes

For less heat, remove seeds and membranes from jalapeños before roasting. Use your preferred cheese and bread varieties for customization.
