- 2 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2–3 jalapeños, roasted and sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread cream cheese on one slice of bread and top it with roasted jalapeños and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place the second slice of bread on top to make a sandwich.
- Butter the outer sides of the sandwich.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for about 3–4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice in half and serve hot.
Notes
For less heat, remove seeds and membranes from jalapeños before roasting. Use your preferred cheese and bread varieties for customization.
