- 1 small head green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks until browned.
- Once the beef is cooked through, stir in the sliced cabbage.
- Drizzle the soy sauce and rice vinegar over the mixture, stirring to combine.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use tamari or coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Add bell peppers for color and sweetness.
