Description

A flavorful stir-fry of ground beef, tender cabbage, and aromatic ginger and garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small head green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks until browned.
  5. Once the beef is cooked through, stir in the sliced cabbage.
  6. Drizzle the soy sauce and rice vinegar over the mixture, stirring to combine.
  7. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use tamari or coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Add bell peppers for color and sweetness.
