Description

A delightful seafood salad featuring shrimp, calamari, scallops, mussels, and crab meat in a zesty dressing, perfect for special occasions or a festive meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound calamari, cleaned and cut into rings
  • 1 pound scallops
  • 1 pound mussels, cleaned
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lettuce for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until it turns pink. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add the calamari and scallops to the boiling water and cook for another 2-3 minutes until tender.
  3. Finally, add the mussels and cook until they open. Drain all the seafood and set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, calamari, scallops, mussels, and crab meat.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the dressing over the seafood and toss everything gently to combine.
  7. Let the salad marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to soak in the flavors.
  8. Serve the seafood salad on a bed of lettuce, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added crunch, consider including diced cucumbers or bell peppers. Adjust the amount of garlic and lemon juice to taste.
