Description

A classic Italian dish featuring tender shrimp and spaghetti in a light, flavorful sauce reminiscent of coastal dining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in white wine and simmer for a couple of minutes to reduce slightly.
  6. Toss in the cooked spaghetti, mixing well to coat the noodles.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp and test the pasta for the perfect al dente. Serve immediately or store leftovers properly.
