			- 1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices, drained
 - 1 box yellow cake mix
 - 1/2 cup butter, melted
 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
 - 1 cup maraschino cherries (optional)
 - 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
 
Instructions
- In your slow cooker, layer the drained pineapple slices evenly at the bottom.
 - Sprinkle the brown sugar generously over the layer of pineapple.
 - Pour the yellow cake mix evenly on top of the pineapple and brown sugar. No need to mix!
 - Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the dry cake mix—make sure it covers as much as possible.
 - If desired, scatter the maraschino cherries and chopped nuts on top of the mixture for added flavor and texture.
 - Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until the cake is set and a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
 - Serve warm and relish in the comforting sweetness!
