Sriracha & Lime Prawn Linguine

Description

A vibrant, tantalizing meal that marries succulent prawns with the zing of lime and a fiery kick of Sriracha.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g linguine
  • 200g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 lime (zested and juiced)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh coriander, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the linguine. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Add the prawns to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in the Sriracha sauce, lime juice, and lime zest. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to meld the flavors.
  5. Toss the cooked linguine into the skillet with the prawns, mixing well to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as desired.
  7. Plate the linguine hot, garnished with fresh coriander for a pop of color and flavor.

Notes

This dish is best served hot. Pair with a crisp green salad or chilled white wine.
