Description
A chilled, creamy dessert featuring layers of vanilla pudding, strawberries, bananas, and crispy vanilla wafers.

- 2 boxes vanilla wafers
- 6 to 8 bananas, sliced
- 2 cups milk (2% recommended)
- 1 container strawberries (about 12–16 oz), hulled and sliced
- 1 (5 oz.) box French Vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 oz.) container whipped topping (thawed if frozen)
Instructions
- Soft the cream cheese at room temperature. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk, and beat until smooth.
- Whisk the French Vanilla pudding mix into 2 cups of milk for 2 minutes until it thickens.
- Add the pudding mixture to the cream cheese and condensed milk, stirring until well combined.
- In a large serving dish, arrange a layer of vanilla wafers, followed by sliced bananas and strawberries.
- Pour half of the pudding mixture over the layers in the dish.
- Repeat layering with more vanilla wafers, bananas, and strawberries, then pour the remaining pudding mixture on top.
- Spread the whipped topping over the final layer and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, garnish with whole strawberries or banana slices.
Notes
For a lighter version, use lower-fat alternatives and consider adding coconut or nuts for variations.
