Description
A delightful no-bake dessert featuring layers of creamy pudding, fresh banana slices, and strawberries, all topped with whipped topping and vanilla wafers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boxes vanilla wafers
- 6 to 8 ripe but firm bananas, sliced
- 2 cups milk (2% recommended)
- 1 container strawberries (approximately 1 pint / 16 oz), hulled and sliced
- 1 (5 oz.) box French vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 oz.) container whipped topping (thawed if frozen)
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Beat the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk together until smooth and fully combined.
- Add the French vanilla pudding mix and the 2 cups of milk to the cream cheese mixture. Whisk or beat until smooth and slightly thickened.
- In a large serving dish, create the first layer of vanilla wafers in an even layer.
- Add a layer of sliced bananas across the wafers, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries.
- Pour half of the pudding mixture over the fruit and wafers, spreading gently.
- Repeat the layers: another layer of vanilla wafers, then bananas and strawberries, and pour the remaining pudding mixture on top.
- Spread the whipped topping evenly over the final layer of pudding.
- Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 4 hours (overnight is best).
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
