Instructions

  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  3. Cut the pound cake or biscuits into thick pieces.
  4. To assemble, layer pound cake, strawberries with their juices, and whipped cream in individual serving dishes or a large trifle dish.
  5. Repeat layers until you use up the ingredients, finishing with a generous layer of whipped cream on top.
  6. Garnish with mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
