Instructions
- In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries and sugar. Let sit for 30 minutes to create a delicious syrup.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- On serving plates, place a shortcake biscuit, top with some strawberries and syrup, then add a generous dollop of whipped cream.
- Continue layering as desired, finishing with more strawberries and whipped cream on top.
- Garnish with mint leaves if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
