Soft and pillowy vegan dinner rolls perfect for any occasion, with a lightly crisp top and melt-in-your-mouth interior.
Ingredients

- 1 1/4 cups non-dairy milk, warmed
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 6 Tbsp non-dairy butter, melted and cooled
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3 Tbsp non-dairy butter, melted (for brushing)
- Flaky sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Warm the milk to about 100°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the warmed milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy.
- Add melted non-dairy butter to the mixture. In a separate bowl, whisk flour and salt, then combine with the wet ingredients.
- Knead the dough for 6–8 minutes on a floured surface until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 45–60 minutes.
- Deflate the dough and divide into 12 pieces, shaping each into a ball.
- Let the rolls rise in a greased pan for 30–40 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Brush the rolls with melted non-dairy butter and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden.
- Brush with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or freeze for up to 3 months.
