- 2 large potatoes, grated
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your wafflemaker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- In a bowl, mix the grated potatoes, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Lightly grease the wafflemaker with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Place a portion of the potato mixture onto the wafflemaker and close it. Cook for about 5-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully remove the hash browns and repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For best texture, use starchy potatoes and avoid overmixing the potato mixture.
