Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large potatoes, grated
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your wafflemaker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a bowl, mix the grated potatoes, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  3. Lightly grease the wafflemaker with olive oil or cooking spray.
  4. Place a portion of the potato mixture onto the wafflemaker and close it. Cook for about 5-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For best texture, use starchy potatoes and avoid overmixing the potato mixture.
